About Us

Government Dental College, Calicut was Founded during the year of 1982. The College is affiliated to the University of Calicut.
Government Dental College is Accredited & approved by (DCI) Dental Council of India. In the Year 1969, this college was started as 
a small department of Dentistry at Calicut Medical College. The College was shifted from Medical College building to the present 
six storied building in 1984. The BDS Course was started  with thirty students in 1982, this college is the second Dental College to be  
established in  Kerala State of  South India.  In  1981 the Government decided to  upgrade the wing to a full fledged Dental College.
