About Us
M.G.M Muthoot Medical Centre was founded in 1988 by Late. Dr. George Kurien MRCP, also the Founder Medical Director
of MMC, with the vision of providing the very best healthcare to a rural community in a financially responsible manner.
That vision has today grown into the Muthoot Healthcare division. The division consists of two multispecialty hospitals, a
primary healthcare clinic, 12 diagnostic centres and an education unit with colleges and schools of nursing, and allied health
science and management colleges. The Division is headed by Executive Director Dr. Georgie Kurien, Muthoot, MRCGP.
